The stamping production of automotive body panels

Our stamped automotive body panels  are hoods, trunk lids and doors. Judging from the appearance of the car, the body of these cars basically covers the entire car in terms of area. Our automotive body panels does not supply automobile manufacturers, we mainly supply automobile repair shops and automobile modification factories. We must use the least stamping equipment and mold costs to produce the automotive body panels that we need. All of our stamping machines and servo press were purchased from JINWO PUNCH. Our stamping workshop has eight ordinary stamping machines and a servo-press production line, which use aluminum plates and steel plates to stamp automotive exterior parts covering parts.

Automotive Body coverings make the car's appearance more technological and cater to the public's aesthetics. Usually a model will be launched with a new appearance every few years. In order to produce automobile body parts by stamping, we make these molds according to the forming characteristics of various stamping dies. Usually drawing dies draw the flat blank on a press to obtain curved hollow parts or covering parts; trimming dies cut off the excess outer edge of flat, hollow or three-dimensional solid parts; punching dies separate the material in the part with a closed outline to make the part get a hole; flanging dies use stretching to make the edge of the original punched hole forming a flange; shaping dies press the originally bent or stretched parts into the required shape through the mold. Therefore, the body panel forming process is the key to reducing production cycle time, reducing labor costs, reducing raw material waste, reducing the number of mold sets used, and improving product quality and market competitiveness.

The stamping die for automobile body panels is an industrial product that shapes materials in a specific structural form in a certain way. It is also a production tool that can batch produce automobile body panels with certain shape and size requirements. The working part of the stamping die for automobile body panels is generally a two-dimensional or three-dimensional complex surface, rather than a simple geometry that is generally machined. Mold manufacturing not only requires high processing accuracy, but also requires good surface quality. Generally speaking, the manufacturing tolerance of the working part of the stamping die should be controlled within plus or minus 0.01mm.
